GlowNights is an art exhibit that takes place annually in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. GlowNights’ artworks are inspired by the natural phenomena of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem and employ light as a medium to attract people out into public spaces at night. Artworks are displayed in Jackson Wyoming from December 2021 - through January 2022.

WildWalls murals link to conservation science through Augmented Reality

The three Jackson town councilors in attendance for Monday night’s council meeting unanimously voted to make the requisite moves to apply for a grant that would largely fund a practical art installation of donated Snow King Summit Lift chairs along the Cache Street corridor.

A giant troll has emerged from the banks of R Park’s pond, to engage and delight all who visit. The troll – officially named “Mama Mimi” – was built by the artist Thomas Dambo, produced by Jackson Hole Public Art and hosted at Jackson Hole Land Trust’s community conservation property, R Park.

JH News & Guide: Moonshot ready to launch Thursday

A new ArtSpot goes up this week on Broadway featuring a three-dimensional sculpture of stampeding bison by local artist David Watson. This installation has been over three years in the making and marks an evolution of this artwork, which was originally conceived as a painting titled “Stampede.”

CLB Architects is no stranger to public art installations in Jackson, Wyoming; take its mutable Town Enclosure from 2019, for example. This year, the firm has returned with Undercurrent, an eclectic collection of rods for the monthlong Glownights 2020/21 public art exhibition.

GlowNights public art installations – produced by Jackson Hole Public Art and in partnership with Teton Village Association and the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort – are up through the end of January, each with an augmented reality message about ENERGY: how we use it, where it’s from, and where it will go.

Jackson Hole Public Art presents a magical, immersive art installation for all in our community to enjoy.
