250 PORTRATS

To commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, Governor Mark Gordon established the Wyoming Semiquincentennial Planning Task Force. With grant support from the Wyoming 250th and the Jackson Hole Travel & Tourism Board, Jackson Hole Public Art is pleased to present 250 Portraits, a visual collection of Wyoming’s faces, ranging from ages 5 to over 80. From Jackson to Pinedale, from the Wind River to Cheyenne, these five murals in downtown Jackson put Wyoming's people front and center; their creativity, ingenuity, humor, and depth on full display for anyone who stops to look.

Check out the 2026 self guided public art walking tour, featuring the 250 Portraits project!

There are 5 murals of portraits located in downtown Jackson. Check them out at the Center for the Arts, Pinky G’s Pizza, the Antler Inn, Book Trader and the Elks Club.
