HISTORY
_
In
2008 Bland Hoke began serving as the Public Art Ambassador for the Center of
Wonder. The success of his installations and the strong support provided by the
Center of Wonder paved the way toward establishing the Public Art Initiative,
which has operated as a special project of the Cultural Council since September
of 2010. The Initiative has gained momentum and is making quantifiable progress
in building a public art program for the community.
